Description

Laugarfell is a new facility consisting of basic accommodation, refreshments and bathing pools, located in the eastern highlands, a short detour of road 910.   The hostel offers home-baked cakes, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks.   A small fee is payable if you wish to use the bathing pools, which are heated by hot spring water and have fantastic panoramic views of Mt Snæfell.  A spectacular three-hour circular walk departs from Laugarfell and takes you past may beautiful waterfalls.
