Calea Victoriei (The Victory Road)
Calea Victoriei (The Victory Road), also known in the past as the Bridge Mogoşoaia, is one of the oldest streets in Bucharest. The first part of the road was opened in 1692.Bucharest's history is entwined around Calea Victoriei. This was the first paved road in Romania, on this street functioned the first electrical lighting system in Bucharest. Along Calea Victoriei can be admired today over 30 monuments and historical buildings.
