September 11 Memorial has two pools, with the exact location and size of the two destroyed towers. 9 meters deep, these pools intend to reflect the absence of the nearly 3,000 victims whose names are engraved on the parapets. The water that flows represents the collapse of the towers, and it circulates in a closed circuit to mean that time passes but that New Yorkers will never forget.
